Only sixteen kms from Mahabaleshwar, is the beautiful hillstation of Panchgani – also called the “Mecca of Maharashtra”. Panchgani is christened based on “Panch” as it is surrounded by five hills of Sahyadri, and “Gani” meaning settlement. This all-season hill station elevated at 1305 meters above sea level and having an area of 6 sq. km is located east of Mahabaleshwar on Mahabaleswea -Wai road.
